"When I look out there, I see 5,000 stories," Jeanie Greene told the Alaska Federation of Natives crowd moments after winning one of the AFN's top honors. The federation named the "Heartbeat Alaska" host Citizen of the Year today for a career that's spanned 20 years of filming life in rural Alaska. "When I began it was really tough. There was no stories about Natives except the drunks with black eyes in the paper," she said backstage, holding a headress she was gifted along with the award. An Inupiat who grew up in Sitka, Greene said she was raised on stories of reindeer herding and ice-breaking. "I wanted to share the Alaska that I knew." The award came during this morning's opening session of the AFN convention. U.S. Rep. Don Young won the "Denali Award," which is given to a non-Native for contributions to the Alaska Native community. Greene said she got her start in 1990 as a reporter for KIMO Channel 13 in Anchorage, launching "Heartbeat Alaska" about two years later.
Josh Brahm has worked in the pro-life movement since he was 18. After 12 years of full-time pro-life work he launched Equal Rights Institute to maximize his impact for the movement.
Josh’s primary passion is helping pro-life people to be more persuasive when they communicate with pro-choice people. That means ditching faulty rhetoric and tactics and embracing arguments that hold up under philosophical scrutiny. He has publicly debated leaders from Planned Parenthood, the National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL), Georgians for Choice, and one of the leading abortion facilities in Atlanta. Josh also wants to bring relational apologetics to the pro-life movement. “Some pro-choice people will not change their mind after one conversation on a college campus. Some of them will only change their mind after dozens of conversations with a person they trust in the context of friendship.” Josh is formerly the host of a globally-heard podcast turned radio/TV show, Life Report. John Girardi currently hosts the Life Report program.

He has spent thousands of hours interacting with abortion advocates in the public square, making a reasonable and clear case for the pro-life position.
Before becoming a pro-life minister, Michener served in the administration of Oklahoma Christian University. He previously taught speech and debate, and he is an ordained minister of the Gospel.
Fighting tyranny and injustice is heavy work, but Michener knows how to lighten it up
John and Evelyn Ritenbaugh reside in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he works in the church office preparing sermons, writing articles, answering questions, and overseeing the major business affairs of the Church of the Great God. Once each month, John travels to congregations scattered throughout the U.S. and Canada, and a few times a year he visits the brethren in international areas. John says, "I look forward to the time when the church will once again be unified. But until that time, it is my hope that I might be able to make use of more than fifty years of experience in the ministry and serve you in this capacity." Early on, most of the church's growth resulted from its weekly audio tape program, which began immediately upon its founding. CGG now employs three full-time elders (John Ritenbaugh, Richard Ritenbaugh, and Martin Collins). Now, each week, hundreds of sermon CDs are sent to subcribers around the globe.
"Bob and Geri co-host a premiere radio program focusing on K-12 Christian education and homeschooling. They have been on the cutting edge of helping churches and families see the need for K-12 Christian education for over two decades." Bob and Geri began Issues in Education as the radio ministry of Citizens for Excellence in Education founded by Dr. Robert Simonds in 1988. Issues in Education is heard on over 650 stations, including 4 satellite networks. The largest is the Christian Satellite Network with 424 stations. Issues in Education began with the intention to change public schools, but after one interview in 1997 with E. Ray Moore, the Boyd's focus changed. Chaplain Moore said, "Trying to change the public schools is like trying to teach a pig how to dance. It's a waste of time! You just get dirty and the pig gets mad!" That classic interview convinced them that they needed to get Christian children out of public schools (Exodus Mandate) and into K-12 Christian education and home schooling.

It’s the Information Age! Except in China—it’s the Misinformation Age. The Chinese Communist Party controls the “China message” through direct censorship, incentives for self-censorship, and outright propaganda. And if none of those work, they’ll arrest you or kick you out of China. As a result, domestic and foreign journalists alike struggle to report on and get published certain stories about China—especially those that are critical of the CCP, or that highlight the CCP’s oppressive treatment of its people. Host Chris Chappell, Producer Matt Gnaizda, and Humor Ninja Shelley Zhang are all former China journalists who seek to cover topics in a way that is both accurate in detail and correct in the larger context. In 2012, they decided to turn to comedy to make China news more engaging for people around the world. Thus, China Uncensored was born.
We’re seeking answers… but first, we are trying to ask the right questions.
As two people who found themselves on a path of discovery, we have each bumped up against the same wall around us – we are told the world is a certain way, and that we must act a certain way, and that things must be in proper order. But we have found that the table is rigged. Our perceptions are skewed, our illusions used for deceptive ends, and the true nature of life has been veiled from the people. It has been kept, and hidden, and secretly progressed. In contemporary times, the meaning of technology has dawned upon us much more slowly than its products have taken over our busy lives. Updates in the understanding of science have informed these tools and developments, and fine tuned the mechanisms of control.

Our goal is to abolish human abortion through the gospel of Jesus Christ. In order to abolish human abortion, we preach that abortion is sin, and we exhort all Christians to be involved in abolishing this atrocity in our nation by being salt and light and calling for the immediate abolition of this great evil of child sacrifice.
For too long, the fight against the evil of abortion has been left to the professional pro-life movement, and the average Christian has simply voted every four years for political candidates they hoped would remedy this great evil in our midst. But, abortion is not a political issue: It is mass homicide.
